Businesses and local public health departments have a shared interest in maximizing population health outcomes both for the good of the communities they serve and work in as well as the positive economic benefits it affords.

On June 28, please join BPC and the de Beaumont Foundation for the release of a new report on the value of building partnerships between businesses and local public health departments. The report explains the importance of these collaborations and offers practical recommendations to help these sectors work together to improve community health. While these collaborations seem like a natural fit, there are only a few accounts of these initiatives in the U.S.

U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams will keynote this event. An expert panel will discuss the opportunities and challenges for cross-sector partnerships between public health departments and businesses.

The event will be webcast.
