Before we can fix America’s broken child care system, we need to better understand the users of it – parents. In BPC’s extensive survey work with Morning Consult, we’ve found that there are roughly one-third of working parents who do not rely on the formal child care system. Why?

Join BPC to learn more about this subset of working parents who are using other caregiving arrangements (for example: child care from relatives, parents, non-relative friend/neighbor, or a nanny) for their young children and what barriers prevent them from seeking out formal child care options.
