Political campaigns take place in an increasingly digital world. Candidates, parties, and outside groups use platforms such as Facebook, Google, and Twitter to contact voters and shape public opinion. But concerns about false news, undisclosed advertising, and foreign interference loom large. BPC hosted an event where representatives from digital platforms discuss the policy changes they are making to address these issues and Republican and Democratic digital strategists share how they will be campaigning in the digital world in 2018.
