Today’s college students have been labeled “snowflakes,” unwilling to engage respectfully with views that challenge their beliefs. Some students shout down controversial speakers, while other students self-censor for fear of campus call-out culture.

But this unflattering portrayal of students offers a partial view of today’s undergraduates: most students genuinely welcome the opportunity to learn from diverse viewpoints and some have stepped up to create such opportunities for themselves and their student peers.

Join us this Constitution Day, September 17, as we hear from student leaders who are promoting viewpoint diversity and a culture of open exchange on their campuses.
