This event has passed.

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) are in the news every day. Some say AI will be a benefit for small businesses and, in many cases, small entrepreneurial companies are already driving those advances. Others say AI will pose yet another challenge for small businesses. So, what’s the role of public policy in helping small businesses maximize AI opportunities and mitigate challenges?

Join Bailey DeVries, associate administrator of the Small Business Administration’s Office of Investment and Innovation (OII) and acting associate administrator of the Office of Capital Access, and Mark Walsh, BPC board member and former head of OII, for an exploration of AI’s potential. The discussion will examine AI policy, how small businesses are utilizing AI, and how SBA is working to help small businesses capitalize on this technology.
