BPC’s Wuerfmannsdobler Named Finalist for CMF Honor

The following is a statement from BPC President Jason Grumet:

“Congratulations to BPC senior advisor Franz Wuerfmannsdobler on his selection as a finalist for the Congressional Management Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement award. BPC commends the foundation for highlighting the essential contributions of congressional staff to their constituents and the institution. Franz exemplifies the dedication, passion, and humility that serve as the foundation of effective public service.

“During his 20 years on Capitol Hill, Franz worked in the offices of Sens. Robert Byrd, Byron Dorgan, and Chris Coons. His policy portfolio has included energy, environment, science and technology, appropriations, and budget issues. During his congressional service, he sought to find common ground approaches to advance major legislative and policy initiatives. Building on these experiences, he is dedicated to improving public discourse and restoring civic trust.

“We are lucky to have Franz as part of our team and proud to see him recognized for his years of dedicated public service.”
