Following the House’s recent failure to pass immigration reform bills, it is clear that a new blueprint for reform is needed. Over the last several months BPC has embarked on some work to understand the feelings of voters on immigration and the policies that might gain consensus support. BPC Action contracted with Luntz Global for a set of focus groups and a national survey, with the objectives of gauging voter perceptions, priorities, and expectations for the future of immigration policy. Additionally, working with other organizations, BPC has held roundtables of state and local elected and appointed officials to understand how these issues are playing out on the ground, in communities across the country.

Join Director of Immigration and Cross-Border Policy Theresa Cardinal Brown and BPC Action Senior Manager Laura Hall and a panel of immigration and political experts to discuss the results of this work and the potential to impact the immigration debate.

Can’t join us in person? The event will be webcast on this page.
