As a new administration grapples with U.S. policy on the Middle East, BPC is convening a panel of foreign policy experts to discuss U.S. interests and policy in the region and whether a reassessment is required. Please join us for the release of BPC’s newest study, Seeking Stability at Sustainable Cost: Principles for a New U.S. Strategy in the Middle East, which argues for the region’s continued importance to the United States, and lays out strategic principles for the administration to consider as it crafts a new policy.

Report co-authors Ryan Crocker, Eric Edelman, James Jeffrey and Jake Sullivan held a wide-ranging and provocative discussion of the national security threats that the United States faces in the region and how to go about confronting them.
