This event has passed.

When lawmakers expanded access to paid parental leave for active-duty service members in 2021, they didn’t include a crucial segment of military parents—fathers and adopting parents in the Reserve and National Guard. To expand parental leave benefits for all service members, Sens. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) introduced the Reserve Component Parental Leave Parity Act, which would allow all new parents in the Reserve and National Guard to take parental leave when welcoming a newborn or adopted child into their lives.

Join us for a LinkedIn Live with Sens. Hassan and Murkowski on the importance of paid leave in supporting military careers and families. We will focus on their efforts to expand access to military parents as well as the need for a bipartisan path forward on paid family leave.
