Hydrogen has the potential to tackle critical energy challenges by providing a secure domestic source of reliable energy and reducing emissions from difficult-to-decarbonize sectors such as manufacturing and transportation. This congressional lunchtime briefing will examine the ways the private sector and the Federal government are working together to spur a U.S. hydrogen economy and how the Department of Energy is partnering with the private sector to achieve these goals. Speakers will include DOE Office of Technology Transitions Director Vanessa Chan, industry, and the investment community.

Lunch will be provided. This event is hosted by BPC and BPC Action and has been planned in accordance with congressional gift rules and government ethics.
