The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) helps communities as they prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate hazards like natural disasters. Fulfilling this multifaceted mission isn’t an easy one—with high expectations and public scrutiny, sometimes-uncertain funding, and jurisdictional frictions and complexities—all in the face of growing and evolving disaster-related risks.
On May 22, join BPC either in person or virtually for a discussion with former FEMA officials Jeff Byard, Pete Gaynor, and Brock Long on what the agency needs to cost-effectively and efficiently carry out its mission this Atlantic Hurricane season, coming wildfire season, and beyond.
Panel discussion featuring:
Jeffrey Byard | Vice President of Operations, Team Rubicon; Former FEMA Associate Administrator
Pete Gaynor | Vice President, Resiliency and Disaster Recovery, Hill International; Former FEMA Administrator
Brock Long | Executive Chairman, Hagerty Consulting; Former FEMA Administrator
