The Bipartisan Policy Center, in partnership with the University of Maryland, is delighted to welcome Stefano Scarpetta, Director for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). With a robust tenure since 2013, Scarpetta has been at the helm of numerous initiatives, encapsulating domains of employment, labor, migration, health, skills, gender, and tackling inequalities at the OECD. He has also served as the Head of Division and Editor of OECD Employment Outlook.
Scarpetta is a seasoned economist with a rich academic background including a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Economics from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris.
On November 16 at 2:00 p.m., Scarpetta will unveil his latest insights stemming from his profound research on the interplay between AI and labor market dynamics. His pivotal contributions to OECD’s AI work, equips policymakers with fresh evidence and analysis concerning the rapidly evolving AI landscape and its ramifications.
