Trade policy is central to how the United States approaches economic competitiveness, national security, the domestic labor market, and geopolitics. From June 12-15, the World Trade Organization is holding its 12th Ministerial Conference. In Washington, disagreements are flaring around tariffs and agreements. In the Senate, Sens. Rob Portman and Chris Coons have introduced the bipartisan Trading Systems Preservation Act.
Join us as BPC president Jason Grumet sits down with the two senators to discuss trade and economic competitiveness, and how they see the evolving role of trade agreements.
