Dr. Martha Kropf is Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her research work focuses on election policy implementation and political participation. She has authored around 50 peer reviewed articles, book chapters, and monographs, as well as two books: Helping America Vote: The Limits of Election Reform (with David C. Kimball; 2012 Routledge) and Institutions and the Right to Vote in America, Palgrave, 2016. She is currently conducting research on election administration spending and how much it costs to run elections.
