Deputy Secretary of State for Elections, Nevada

Mark Wlaschin was appointed as Nevada’s Deputy Secretary of State for Elections in October 2020. In this capacity he is responsible for overseeing the Secretary of State’s Elections Division and administering the state’s election processes, including enforcing state and federal election laws and procedures. He previously served as the Deputy Secretary of State for Operations.

Prior to working for the Nevada Secretary of State, Mr. Wlaschin served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a BA in History from the University of South Carolina, an MBA in Strategic Leadership from New England College, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
