Mark Earley has worked in elections for over 30 years, including six years with a national voting system vendor and the last eight serving as the elected Supervisor of Elections for Leon County, Florida – Florida’s Capital County. During his career, he has been integral to the design and deployment of core election system technologies such as ballot on demand printing systems; voting system inventory, testing, and control software; and post-election audit systems.

Mark was President of the Florida Supervisors of Election’s (FSE) association for the 2022-23 term, and currently serves on the association’s Executive, Legislative, Cybersecurity, Rules, and USPS committees. He takes an active role in the formulation of state election laws and rulemaking, frequently testifying before Florida Senate and House Committees. He is a subject matter expert in the areas of election audits, mail voting, early voting, recounts, physical and cyber security, legislation, media relations, and voting technology.

At the national level, Mark serves on the Executive Committees of both the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s (EAC) Local Leadership Council and the Election Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center (EI-ISAC). He also serves as a Mailers’ Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) Representative for The Election Center. Mark has been a featured speaker and panelist for the EAC, the EI-ISAC, the National Council of State Legislators, and The Election Center.

Mark holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the FAMU/FSU College of Engineering and maintains Master Florida Certified Elections Professional (MFCEP) and Certified Elections Registration Administrator (CERA) certifications and has the required clearances to participate in closed door security briefings.
