Without a supply chain of critical minerals, our efforts to build a clean energy economy will fail. Can domestic mining be part of the solution, or will we remain dependent on imports, often from global adversaries? For new domestic mining to advance, it will require policy reforms, innovation, and sound environmental stewardship. Join BPC for a virtual event exploring how mining in the future can look different than the past.
The event will feature a fireside chat with Tommy Beaudreau, Deputy Secretary at the Department of the Interior, to discuss the Biden administration’s approach to domestic supply chain challenges and the Interagency Working Group on Mining Reform. Following the fireside, an expert panel will discuss innovative mining processes and steps to ensure a more environmentally and socially responsible industry.
