The Senate Judiciary Committee is currently holding a hearing focused on comprehensive immigration reform. Witnesses include BPC Democracy Project co-chair Steve Case and National Council of La Raza President and CEO Janet Murguía, a member of the Democracy Project advisory committee and a BPC Housing commissioner.

Earlier this week, BPC launched the Immigration Task Force, an effort led by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros, and former Governors Haley Barbour and Ed Rendell.
