Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, December 17, Virginia Secretary of Transportation Aubrey Layne will join public and private sector leaders, including former Representative Eric Cantor, in Richmond, VA, for a discussion on ways to expedite infrastructure projects through private investment. An expert panel will discuss the opportunity for future investments in innovations that can help advance a region’s competitive edge.

During the event, model legislation for states will be released that draws from Virginia’s existing law on public-private partnerships (P3s). The model designates broad authority for states and localities to enter into P3s to help bring infrastructure projects online sooner.

Members of the press wishing to attend, please RSVP to Joann Donnellan
