BPC's Grumet to Testify Before Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee

Washington, D.C.– Bipartisan Policy Center President Jason Grumet will testify before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee this Thursday, February 7, during a hearing on the status of energy innovation in America. Also scheduled to appear are Undersecretary for Science Paul Dabbar, former Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, and ClearPath founder Jay Faison, among others.

Grumet will discuss the importance of federal investment in energy innovation and tout the work of the American Energy Innovation Council, a project of BPC. AEIC argues that the United States is losing a competitive edge internationally when it comes to developing next-generation energy technologies and that increased federal investment is key to changing that dynamic.
