BPC Applauds House Bipartisan Paid Family Leave Working Group

For once, get this done.”- Representative Stephanie Bice (R-OK)

This time it’s different. – Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA)

BPC applauds Representatives Stephanie Bice (R-OK) and Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) along with Representatives Collin Allred (D-TX), Julia Letlow (R-LA), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA), and Haley Stevens (D-MI) for launching the House Bipartisan Paid Family Leave Working Group to facilitate bipartisan discussion on this important issue.

In January 2023, BPC and Engage hosted a reception to celebrate the formation with the working group members, community leaders, and stakeholders. Too often, Americans must choose between their careers and their family, so BPC is actively working on innovative policies that increase access to paid family leave. We look forward to working with the group to find a pragmatic solution that meets the needs of businesses, workers, and families.
