Nick Gonnerman

Project Assistant, Campus Free Expression Project

Nick Gonnerman is project assistant for the BPC Campus Free Expression Project. He earned his BA cum laude with departmental distinction from St. Olaf College in 2019, where he majored in history and American studies. As an undergraduate, Gonnerman committed himself to issues of diversifying student viewpoints and academic conversation. He founded a debate-style publication called Rebuttal, which encourages students to participate in lively discussion of current affairs. He also served on the Director’s Council and the Advisory Board of St. Olaf College’s Institute for Freedom and Community, which promotes intellectual diversity in academe by hosting panels and lectures by a broad range of liberal and conservative thinkers.
