Natalie Hamm is a senior policy analyst for health innovation. Prior to joining BPC, she worked in private market innovation at the National Quality Forum. She led federal and state health policy initiatives at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and America’s Health Insurance Plans. Notably, Hamm worked on resolving drug shortages at the federal level and led policy regarding transparency in state pharmacy laws while at ACS CAN. Prior to her policy career, she led clinical drug trials at Merck Research Laboratories and practiced as an oncology research nurse at New York Presbyterian Hospital and the National Institutes of Health.
Hamm holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed both her nursing education (B.S.N.) and a B.A. in German Language and Literature at the University of Virginia.
