Meron Yohannes is a research analyst for BPC’s Evidence-Based Policymaking Initiative. Before joining BPC, she worked as a qualitative/quantitative research assistant at the Survey Evaluation and Research Laboratory at the Center of Public Policy at Virginia Commonwealth University. Yohannes’ experience includes survey design, program evaluation, and data analysis for a multitude of policy issues at the state and local level. Previously, she served in the Constituent Services Office in former Governor Terry McAuliffe’s administration.
Yohannes received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and Public Policy and Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. During her third year of undergraduate studies, she was accepted into, and later completed, the accelerated Masters of Public Administration program at VCU.
