Kate Cassling is a senior manager with BPC Action. Prior to joining BPC Action, Cassling worked for more than eight years on Capitol Hill, most recently serving as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Joe Manchin, specializing in healthcare, education, and labor policy. In that role, she managed the Senator’s work on the Senate Appropriations Labor, Health and Human Services Subcommittee and the Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans. Previously, she worked as a Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Dina Titus and as a Legislative Aide to Senator Susan Collins. Cassling has a B.A. in Economics from Swarthmore College and an M.A. in Education from Tel Aviv University.
