John Jacobs is a Senior Policy Analyst on the Energy Program at the Bipartisan Policy Center. At BPC, John focuses on clean energy supply chains, critical minerals, permitting reform, and financing the energy transition. In 2020, John earned a Master in Public Policy from the George Washington Trachtenberg School of Public Policy & Public Administration, where he focused on regulatory and economic policy. During his master’s program, he worked in communications at the Economic Club of Washington DC and immigration advocacy at FWD.us.

Prior to moving to Washington, John earned his B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin and worked in the Texas Legislature for House Speaker Joe Straus and Senator Jose Menendez.
