Jeremy Pesner is the Senior Policy Analyst on the Bipartisan Policy Center’s technology team. He has undertaken academic projects related to science research, policy, and communication at Georgetown University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Carnegie Mellon University and won several awards for his work. His professional positions have been spread across federal government, state governments, and international nonprofits, and while living in Israel he undertook research into the country’s startup and technology ecosystem.
Pesner has spoken at several venues including TEDx, Hackers on Planet Earth, and the European Forum for Studies of Policies for Research and Innovation. He is an active member of several organizations that are dedicated to social innovation and impact, including the NEXUS Global Summit, the New Leaders Council, and the Royal Society of Arts. Pesner earned his BS in Computer Science from Dickinson College and his MA in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University.
