Hugh Frater

Hugh Frater is the Chairman of Vessel Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of panelized multifamily apartment buildings that are delivered at lower cost and in a fraction of the time of traditional techniques. Prior to Vessel he enjoyed a long career in financial services as a founding partner of BlackRock, Inc. and more recently as the CEO of Fannie Mae during the pandemic. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business where he serves on the Board of Overseers.
