Gwen Fortune-Blakely is the Bipartisan Policy Center’s vice president of external affairs and marketing. She has more than 20 years of experience in brand marketing, business development, and strategic planning. Fortune-Blakely is seasoned at leveraging analytics and insights to develop strategies that increase brand equity and drive revenue.
Prior to joining BPC, Fortune-Blakely was the director of enterprise-wide marketing and sales at the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Her rich marketing experience includes positions at Marriott International, the United States Mint, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, The Coca-Cola Company, and Mattel Toys.
Fortune-Blakely earned her MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles and her Bachelor of Arts from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. She is a scholar with the American Society of Association Executives Diversity Executive Leadership Program and has earned her Certified Association Executive credential.
