Eric Rodriguez co-chairs BPC’s Consumer Protection Task Force. He is currently the vice president at the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), where he heads the office of research, advocacy, and legislation.

In this role, he leads a team that oversees the institution’s legislative affairs, public policy research, policy analysis, communications, and civic engagement work.

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., NCLR is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States. Through its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations, NCLR reaches millions of Hispanics each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia.

In addition to his role with NCLR, Rodriguez serves on the boards of the National Hispanic Council on the Aging and the Center for Financial Services Innovation, and he is a member of the National Academy of Social Insurance.

Prior to NCLR, Rodriguez was a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Fellow and served in Representative Nydia Velázquez’s office. Rodriguez holds degrees from American University and Siena College.
