Brooke Haywood Bachmann

Brooke Haywood Bachmann is the Executive Assistant to the Acting CEO and COO at BPC, as well as serving others in BPC’s senior leadership team.  Bachmann brings over 20 years of professional expertise in supporting executive leadership in the nonprofit arenas of health care with Howard University Hospital, social equity, inclusion and empowerment with Special Olympics International, and environmental advocacy and species protection with The World Wildlife Fund and The Wilderness Society.  In addition, Bachmann served for five years within the president’s office of a leading American manufacturing trade association.

Bachmann has served on the Boards of The Eastern Market Preservation Corporation and The School Without Walls High School Home and School Association, a Blue Ribbon award-winning high school in Washington, D.C., and volunteers with Moms Demand Action to stop gun violence that constitutes a public health crisis in our nation.  Bachmann received a B.A. in Communications, with a minor in Political Science, from Mount Vernon College, now The George Washington University: Mount Vernon Campus.
