Brendan Simmons

Brendan Simmons is the director of foundation relations at the Bipartisan Policy Center.

Simmons brings over 11 years in development experience to the Bipartisan Policy Center. Most recently, Simmons served as the director of foundation partnerships at the Atlantic Council, a foreign policy-focused organization based in Washington, DC. As director, Simmons served as the organizational lead on foundation partnerships and funding, working with private, corporate, and family foundations supporting the organization. He also worked in development at various DC nonprofits, including Defenders of Wildlife, a conservation organization, and Equal Justice Works, a legal nonprofit.

Simmons earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in History and Russian at the University of Maryland, College Park.
