Ashmi Sheth is a policy analyst with BPC’s Financial Regulatory Reform Initiative. Prior to joining BPC, Sheth was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked in both financial markets and advisory forensics services. She has experience in financial modeling and valuation for GSEs and structured products. Her consulting work specialized in government contracts, ensuring clients were compliant and transparent with DCAA regulation.
Sheth has interned with Fannie Mae, former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, and Maryland State Delegate Aruna Miller. She is also a University Innovation Fellow, funded by Stanford University to integrate entrepreneurial ecosystems within institutions at a university level.
Sheth holds a B.S. in finance and a B.A. in government and politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. She graduated with additional honors in entrepreneurship and innovation.
