Ari Goldberg is the director of media relations. He brings more than 15 years of communications experience inside the Beltway, both on and off the Hill. He served as Rep. Jerrold Nadler’s (D-NY) press secretary and as a journalism fellow with former Rep. Howard Berman (D-CA). Recently, Goldberg was the policy communications director at CARE, the global humanitarian group, and the US press secretary for the ONE Campaign, the global anti-poverty organization founded by U2 frontman Bono. He has also worked in newsrooms, including The Newshour with Jim Lehrer and the BBC News bureau in Jerusalem.
Goldberg grew up in El Paso, Texas and received a BA in journalism at the University of Texas at Austin and an MPhil in Modern Hebrew Literature from Cambridge University.
