PCEA Letter to Ohio Secretary of State Regarding Online Voter Registration
Online voter registration is an essential component to upgrading the nation’s election administration system. It an invaluable tool for managing the accuracy of the voter rolls and reducing the costs associated with voter registration and list maintenance. The Presidential Commission on Election Administration (PCEA), whose work BPC is continuing, made it one of its key recommendations for addressing long lines and mitigating other problems that impact the voter experience. Today, former PCEA co-chairs Bob Bauer and Ben Ginsberg wrote to Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted regarding the many benefits of online voter registration and the growing number of states across the country that are implementing it.
