BPC Response to House Bipartisan Paid Family Leave Discussion Drafts

In December 2024, the House Bipartisan Paid Family Leave Working Group unveiled two discussion drafts proposing bipartisan federal solutions for paid family leave: the Interstate Paid Leave Action Network (I-PLAN) Act and the Paid Family Leave Public-Private Partnership Act. As part of this effort, the Working Group invited stakeholders to share feedback on the proposed legislation. The Bipartisan Policy Center applauds this bipartisan approach to policymaking and has submitted thoughtful feedback to support the development of these important initiatives.
