BPC Energy Stimulus and Recovery Policies

The U.S. COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in profoundly detrimental impacts on the American people and the U.S. economy. When the immediate public health crisis passes, a broad bipartisan stimulus and recovery policy framework will be needed to restart and rebuild the economy.
Energy and infrastructure should be an important part of the proposals to drive economic growth and job creation by modernizing our energy infrastructure, reinvigorating domestic manufacturing and export capabilities, reinforcing and strengthening domestic supply chains, and investing in the foundation of a low-carbon energy system.
The BPC Energy Project has focused its attention on the current crisis and is putting forward a set of materials that policymakers can consider when focus shifts from rescue to recovery.
