The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 includes significant provisions that offer hope to people living with disabilities or chronic illness by reshaping coverage and payment under Medicare. Now we have to make sure the law is implemented to create meaningful change.

BPC recently explored how key provisions of the Act could be implemented to improve care for patients with multiple chronic conditions. Panel discussions focused on the congressional intent of the law and the main issues that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services should consider in finalizing its rules associated with the legislation.
