FERC Commissioners Neil Chatterjee and Cheryl A. LaFleur discussed the proposed Grid Resiliency Pricing Rule. This proposal, drafted by the Department of Energy, called for an expedited rulemaking to support generators that provide specific reliability and resiliency attributes. FERC issued a unanimous order on January 8 that ended consideration of the Grid Resilience Pricing Rule and initiated a new proceeding to examine resilience of the bulk power system.
