America has a tumultuous road ahead faced with real, urgent threats—from national security, growing inequality, and mounting federal debt. Despite these tall challenges, BPC believes the only way to get anything meaningful done will be through the constructive collusion of ideas. Though the dust continues to settle from the divisive general election, hope for unity and optimism endures with the election of 52 new members in the United States House of Representatives.

It was an evening of cocktails and conversation with Rep. Val Demings and Rep. Jack Bergman—leaders in the new congressional class—as we dove into potential areas of bipartisanship in the new Congress. Moderated by BPC’s President, Jason Grumet, the conversation explored opportunities to move the needle on key policy issues, as well as emerging themes from the general election and their impact on our country moving forward.

This event complies with all House Ethics rules.
