Environmental, social, and governance, or ESG, is a framework increasingly used as a way to measure factors beyond the balance sheet that impact the financial performance and long-term sustainability of a corporation. However, these factors are rarely discussed outside of corporate boardrooms or stakeholder communities, and there is often confusion surrounding the role ESG plays and how it can help companies mitigate risk and meet the increasing demands of their shareholders.

Join the Bipartisan Policy Center for an illuminating discussion on what ESG means and the broader impact these metrics have on corporate decisions. Douglas L. Peterson, chief executive officer of S&P Global, will give keynote remarks before we hear from an expert panel of leading voices in the industry.
