The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has been a central component of post-crisis financial regulation and often the source of passionate debate. On April 17, BPC will host CFPB Director Kathy Kraninger for her first public remarks laying out her vision for the Bureau. She will cover topics including protecting consumers from bad actors, providing clear rules of the road to financial institutions and non-bank lenders, and empowering consumers to make sound financial choices. A panel discussion will follow the director’s remarks.
The event will be webcast.
