Parent Experiences with Child Care

During the past year, parents have been placed in an enormously challenging situation, forced to simultaneously juggle caregiving and work responsibilities in light of remote learning and working. Despite the American Rescue Plan providing historic support for families, we cannot let short term fixes distract us from the longer-term needs of working parents and their children.

On April 1, please join BPC for the third event in our roundtable series on the impacts of COVID-19 on the child care industry. This event will feature a panel of parents who will discuss their experiences with accessing and affording child care that fits their needs and preferences—both during and prior to the pandemic—and what an ideal system of holistic family supports might look like in a post-COVID environment.
