Moving Forward to Boost U.S. Competitiveness: Next Steps for Congress

When
This event has passed.

The House and Senate have each passed bills aimed at boosting U.S. economic competitiveness and capacity for innovation. Now, as the two chambers head toward conference, the country as a whole is engaged in discussion about what it means to be competitive, the best ways to maintain America’s innovative edge, and what government should and should not do to support competitiveness.

Join the Bipartisan Policy Center for a discussion of the state of play on Capitol Hill, what a final competitiveness bill might look like, and what else may need to be done.
