Achieving a net-zero economy will require an unprecedented level of coordination and action from companies and governments around the world. In order to reach these climate goals, there is broad international agreement from the scientific community that deploying carbon removal and direct air capture (DAC) technologies is needed. The Bipartisan Policy Center’s DAC Advisory Council was convened to identify the policy and market barriers to DAC deployment and is releasing the third, and final, report of their “Case for DAC” series. Join us for a virtual discussion on the necessary components of a federal policy agenda for DAC and how it can serve to catalyze broad political momentum in service of our climate goals.
