The United States is poised to make major investments in infrastructure to address climate goals. Modernization of the energy grid, decarbonization of transportation systems, and the deployment of promising new technologies must be rapidly brought to scale. The scope of this transformation, and the urgency with which it must be accomplished, will require more resources than government can provide on its own. The private sector will be an essential partner in tackling this challenge. This session will explore examples of clean infrastructure projects that are currently being delivered through public-private partnerships and identify strategies for expanding the role of the private sector in delivering smarter, cleaner, faster infrastructure that can benefit all Americans.
