Event Recap: The Role of Medicines in Value-Based Payment and Health Care Delivery
The forum was the third and final event in an educational series, hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center, to inform the national conversation on affordable medicines. The purpose of these forums was to seek an understanding of how private sector decisions and public sector policies impact the prices of drugs and their costs to the health care system. They highlighted what is known about the present system and explored the full range of viewpoints on this issue.
The final forum addressed how pharmaceuticals fit into a value-based payment system.
