As the U.S. economy transitions toward mid-century decarbonization, cutting-edge direct air capture (DAC) technology can play an essential role to balance emissions across difficult to decarbonize sectors.

Commercial DAC projects that remove carbon dioxide directly from the air are already under development in the United States. A new report from Rhodium Group shows that DAC can be a missing piece of the puzzle to meet climate commitments while creating jobs across a new industry and its supply chain.
