Bipartisan Policy Center

Washington, DC 20005
This event has passed.

Since its establishment in 1986, the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, known as LIHTC, has been shown to provide social, economic, and educational benefits for families and communities. New analysis from the Bipartisan Policy Center shows that the LIHTC also has the potential to improve health behaviors, health outcomes, and potentially reduce health care costs. Join us for a panel discussion exploring innovative ways to leverage LIHTC policy to improve health, the promising research on the linkages between affordable housing and health, critical research gaps, and the implications for federal policy moving forward.
