Competition in the Low Earth Orbit Satellite Industry

The LEO satellite industry is highly competitive, with many companies vying for market share. Some of the key players in the industry include SpaceX, OneWeb, and Amazon, all of which are working to develop and launch their constellations of LEO satellites for various applications such as broadband, internet, remote sensing, and satellite communication. In addition to these major players, many smaller companies compete in the LEO satellite market. These companies often specialize in specific technologies or applications and may offer more targeted or niche services. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has launched its new Space Bureau this year to help tackle the evolving need for new rules, better coordination, and oversight. This video focuses on LEOs, competition, and the FCC, and is split into Part 1 and Part 2.
